He was a graduate of McDowell High School and spent many years working with the Millcreek Township Streets Department. He most recently dedicated himself to volunteer work with the West Ridge Fire Dept. He was very dedicated to his family and friends.

He was born on December 14, 1952 in Erie, Pa., a son of the late Harold S. and Marie Cross Cloyd.

John was a student at McDowell High School and received a degree in Nursing from Edinboro University and worked for Pleasant Ridge Manor. He also served his country in the U.S. Navy. He was a very gifted man and not only played music but sang lead in a band. He was a gifted artist and very mechanical.

Thursday, February 14, 2019 at UPMC Hamot. He was born in Erie on February 8, 1953, son of the late Oiva Arthur and Kristi Inne Paavola.

Tom joined the United States Air Force and was stationed in North Dakota, Alaska, California, Florida, Crete and Germany. After retiring from the Air Force, he came back to Erie and managed the Hearthside Rest Pet Cemetery.
