WELCOME FROM THE MCDOWELL HIGH SCHOOL CLASS OF 1971

Hello and thank you for visiting our website for the 50th class reunion planning committee! This last year has been hectic to say the least... and there were serveral times we had our doubts about whether this event would take place or not. But with the relaxing of COVID19 rules and the reopening of facilities in which to hold the reunion, it appears as though the reunion will indeed take place. We know there is only a couple of months in which to plan... but I'm sure there are plenty of rooms available in hotels... friends willing to put you up for a night or two... flights with open seats and a few rental cars to go around. So start making your preliminary plans to attend and we'll fill in all the details as soon as they become available.

Within the next couple of weeks we plan on having an online system where you can register and pay for the reunion as well as tell us which parts you plan on participating in. Of course we'll have class members who will be happy to accept your reservations over the phone as well.

As you know, the 50th reunion is a significant milestone in our lives. We've been married, been divorced, had kids, love grandkids, have had some sadness and then have those moments you wouldn't trade for the world! All of us have a story to tell... and you'll find a lot of classmates anxious to hear the tales you have to tell!
